My name is Adam Nicholson. I grew up in Tennessee, worked in American politics, and moved to Korea. To my surprise I loved it, so I stayed. I recently finished a master's degree in Korean Studies at Yonsei University.
I am not an expert on Korean culture and I would never claim to be. I have lived here for almost 5 years and the more I live here the more interested I become in understanding my place in Korea.
This blog is simply an outlet for me to share some of the things I love about Korea.
I am particularly interested in looking at the intersections of sexuality, gender, and economic development in Korea. If you have recommendations or disagreements, please comment or email. This blog is a learning process for me, and hopefully others too.
